Created in 1939, the National Centre for Distance Learning, the largest operator in Europe, is a public establishment responsible to the French Ministry of Education.
Ranging from primary and secondary School levels to higher Education and College degree levels, including continuing education, vocational training and personal enrichment, the Cned offers close to 3000 courses, supported by personal services.
Teachers, academics and specialists in the various fields of distance learning create the training courses and ensure teaching support. The various personalised support services, such as guidance, evaluation, teaching support and tutoring are accessible via mail, telephone and internet. Individual assessment and personalised monitoring ensure a better transfer of knowledge and skills.
